Milly Goes to Western
We visited Bowling Green, Western Kentucky University and our college friends this past weekend. Milly loved playing with Barkley, Alison's dog and Barkley had a good time putting up with the little puppy in his face all of the time. He did really well with her and both of them were so tired. Milly also got to visit the AOII house and the stadium. Two places Tommy and I spent a lot of time during and after college. We can't wait to go back!

The Kids Meet Milly
Tommy, Milly and I went to TN to see the kids a couple of weekends ago. They loved her as long as she wasn't chasing them. Harrison seemed to be more attached than Molli. My sister says Harrison prays for Milly every night since then. How sweet! I do think we will have a problem once Milly gets bigger because Harrison keeps on telling his Mom he wants a dog as he holds out his hands in the size of a melon. I don't think he likes them to get big. I don't blame him.
Our Little Puppy is Growing UP
Ok, so Milly loves to carry things in her mouth as you can see here. She love to fetch and to rip up paper. She obeys when she wants to and can't seem to drop-it without a treat on hand. We are working on that. She is growing so fast that she is on the last little setting on her collar. I can't believe it.

Our New Puppy
We Are Getting A PUPPY!
We are picking up our new puppy on September 6th. Names in the running are: Molli, Abby, Maggie and Milley (my favorite so far). The Dad is Duke (on the right). He is impressive 100 + pound chocolate lab and is so very smart, loves to hunt and is a real stud. His girlfriend and the Mommy of our future puppy is Dixie (on the left). She is around 55 pounds and is the smallest of all of their girls. Their puppies are a great combination of each of their best qualities. We are so excited and nervous at the same time. Hopefully, we'll get to take our new dog to WKU games, to the beach in SC and all over. We can't wait!

Going Home to See the Kids
Mom and Dad drove through to pick me up and then we went to my sister’s house. The kids had one of their last baseball games that weekend. They did such a great job. Harrison bats first and is their short-stop. He is four playing on a five and six year old team. Might I say he does very well. Molli is their starting first basemen. The boys can't keep up with her. Here are some pics of our very special weekend. We are so proud.

One Year Anniversary
Tommy and I just celebrated our one-year anniversary. We ventured back to SC to The Middleton Place Plantation in Charleston. We had a great time. It was very plain yet the architecture of the Inn was very modern. We went on a kayaking trip (that was an experience, I don’t think we would make it 2 hours on one of those couple reality t.v. contest) and toured the plantation as well as spied on a wedding taking place. Then we had to break out of the plantation to be with real people so went to downtown Charleston. We meet my parents and ate at Hyman’s. It was a great break!
